Search features using user interface in Sitecore 9
In this blog and as a start I will talk about the search features in the UI in Sitecore 9.
So search can be done using the two interfaces,
1. Content Editor
2. and Experience Editor
The results appear in a new paged interface in case you are using Experience Editor or a new tab in case you are using Content Editor and a list of facets appear too to the right side, they can be applied on the result to narrow the search and give more specified result list.
Also using search filters, such as including a template, author or date and specify whether the result should have this filter,
must have it (it works as AND)
or must not have it

Or you can use the wildcard search which is done by just typing * in the search box, hit enter, and the result will be a list of all the sub-items.
One of the coolest features and time saver -in my opinion- when performing a search using Content Editor of Experience Editor is the operations that can be done on the results, they can be accessed by clicking on the arrow, the operations are:
- Add Tag
- Search and replace
- Clone results to
- Delete results
- Publish items
- Apply campaigns events
- Apply presentation
- Copy to data source query
- Apply security rule
- Copy results to
- Move results to
- Serialize items
- Apply profile score
